The children in our Tiddlers room are just finding their feet physically and emotionally, so we’re on hand to help them become more independent and make their own choices.
Our Tiddlers are between the ages of 18 to 24 months, a time when many children start to experience new feelings like frustration and excitement, which can sometimes be overwhelming. The staff in this room, Clare and Zoe, are specially trained to help them navigate and cope with these ‘big’ emotions.
As the Tiddlers room is full of budding explorers, runners and climbers – we actively encourage them to develop these new skills within a safe environment (as well with plenty of time spent outdoors).
Language is at a key developmental stage around this time too. Regular activities are planned to help them communicate and develop their understanding of conversation and social interaction.
If you have any questions about our Tiddlers room, please talk to your child’s key worker.
