Spring has apparently arrived, even though we feel like winter has returned several times this month! What a month for weather, luckily, we’ve all made it in one piece to the end of March!

It’s been a busy month as always, with books, crafts and sporting activities galore!

We kicked off the month with celebrating St David’s and World Book Day all on the first. We did lots of crafts and we have to say a big thank you to everyone who brought in books for us to read. We found some new favourites and the children all really enjoyed exploring their friends’ books.

Towards the end of the month, the First Steps team got in sporty-spirit and donned their trainers for our day of sport-filled fun. All in aid of Sport Relief, the children enjoyed mini assault courses with an array of tunnels, balance beams and hula hoops, plus we did lots of games. The day finished our theme of learning about ‘Me’ perfectly with the children discovering how exercise keeps us all healthy.

A big thank you to those that donated to our charity box for the event too, we raised £30.58.
