We are midway through July and our little ones are thoroughly enjoying learning all about the different countries of the world and about the animals and cultures native to them! We have seen some lovely pieces of artwork created by the children and it has been a brilliant opportunity for them to share with everyone their personal cultures and backgrounds.
Thank you so much to all the parents who have been sending in postcards and treats from their recent trips away, the kids get so excited when a new one arrives and they get to learn all about where it has come from and how far it has travelled. If your child has any stories or toys from their travels, please bring them in to share with everyone.
With the recent sunny weather, the children have donned their sun hats and sunglasses and have been really enjoying their outdoor playtime. We encourage the children to play outdoors in all-weather types, but it is especially great to see them out exploring in the sun, having loads of fun and it has brought a smile to our faces seeing them all in their brightly coloured sun hats.
As the end of the school year approaches, the older ones who will be sadly departing us for big school have had their transition meetings with Tina and have been spending time at their primary school of choice. By slowly introducing the children to their new environment, we hope that the transition to primary school in September will be as smooth and stress-free as possible for you, but most importantly, the children. It can be a really difficult time for families, and we want to do as much as possible to make it easy for you.
As always if you have anything at all you want to discuss with us just ask any team member or contact Ian on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01625 859867.
