December is always a busy month here at First Steps in the run-up to Christmas. There is always much excitement in the air as all the children count down to Father Christmas.
Sally and Tina have been very busy already getting the children prepared and rehearsed for their up and coming Nativity Play. This takes place on Tuesday 12th December at 10:30am – and will be performed by the children in the ‘Pre-school’ room. Unfortunately, places will be limited to two per family due to restriction on space, so, please could parents confirm with Tina if they are able to attend. We would love to see as many of you there as possible.
Our annual Christmas party is not that far away either now. This is taking place on Friday 15th December between 2-4pm. Even if your child does not normally attend the nursery on this day, they are welcome to join in the fun! We hope to see you there – of course, any seasonal fancy dress is more than welcome.
December wouldn’t be December without a Christmas dinner, so on Wednesday 20th we will be offering the children a special lunch. This is only available to those that usually attend on a Wednesday.
And finally, you will see in our ‘Dates For The Diary’ section too, we will be closing on Friday 22nd December 2017 at 6pm. We will then re-open on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 at 7.30am.
