At First Steps we are always keen to expand the activities and tasks we do with our children. Lately, we have been doing lots more sensory play in all our rooms as we have noticed how much the children enjoy it.
From using rocks and pebbles in our ‘Holidays’ theme to explore touch, to painting and using our hands, to making crispy cakes, to using light up and sensory equipment. Our children have loved every activity we have organised.
We look forward to doing more in August too – with lots of the team coming up with new ideas and ways to explore things using all the children’s senses.
